EDClass Team Leader Case Study

Amelia has been working for EDClass since 2018, originally joining the team as a Business Administrator Level 2 Apprentice. In 2020, she enrolled in a Team Leader Level 3 course with EDLounge as the next step in her career progression. Here, she talks about her role in the business, her contributions and what training she has received during her apprenticeship.

"I decided to go down the apprenticeship route after spending a year at Sixth form then deciding it wasn't for me. I never enjoyed written exams and I was told I would fail therefore I just dropped out with no other alternative in mind.

I had a look into my options and I liked the idea of getting paid whilst completing a qualification and being able to slowly leartn in a working environment. One thing I hated was juggling Sixth Form with my night time/weekend job - I struggled to balance studying, earning money and seeing my friends.

I have been at EDClass for three years now and I'm so glad I found it when I did. I started off by doing a Business Admin apprenticeship and I have recently started a Team Leader qualification which I'm really enjoying.

It's a good way to ease into a workplace whilst having people around you to guide you along the way."
